What is pechuga mezcal?
A mezcal distilled once more with seasonal fruit and a pechuga inside the still. It is made for big celebrations in small batches. Our Altar de Muerto is distilled with the fruit of the ofrenda: guava, tejocote and orange.
What is the difference between mezcal and tequila?
Tequila is made only from blue agave, usually cooked in industrial ovens. Mezcal can be made from many agaves, and in artisanal mezcal the agave is cooked in an underground stone oven, which gives it its smoky character. Xhigabaa is artisanal mezcal from Espadín agave.
How do you drink mezcal?
Neat, at room temperature, in small sips from a veladora, copita or jícara. No salt or lime needed: that is how you taste the agave, the smoke and the fruit.

In Santiago Matatlán, Oaxaca, the world capital of mezcal, by maestro mezcalero Armando Jerónimo, with more than 25 years of experience.
Do you ship anywhere in Mexico?
Yes. We ship from Oaxaca by DHL to all 32 states. Your order leaves within 24 to 48 business hours.
How much is shipping?
Free on orders from $2,200 MXN, for example Altar de Muerto + Espadín. For smaller orders the cost depends on your state and is shown before you pay.
How can I pay?
By credit or debit card, or in cash at any OXXO store. Payments are processed securely by Stripe.
Can I get an invoice (CFDI)?
Yes. Check “I need an invoice” when you order and enter your tax details.
Do you sell to restaurants, bars, shops or companies?
Yes. We have volume pricing for corporate gifts from 12 bottles and terms for venues and distributors.
Do you ship outside Mexico?
Our online store ships within Mexico only. In the United States and other countries we work with importers and distributors.
Who can buy?
Adults 18 and over only. You may be asked for ID on delivery.
